However, because I am often busy in real life, I can only work on them in my free time. So I will keep them open, but you will have to be extra patient with me when it comes to receiving them.

Lately, I've seen a bunch of people drawing fan art of my Jimenitoon characters, mostly consisting of Kevin and Violet, as well as Lauren, and a few others.

I think it's time I remind everyone, as well as let newcomers know, about the situation with my Jimenitoons...

As much as it pains me to say this, currently, my Jimenitoons are NOT allowed to be drawn by others, neither as fan art, gift art, or for other stuff.

I have my reasons. One being, well, I'm on the internet and many freaks on the internet like to steal content, despite the fact that I can prove that these are my characters and I've owned them since the very beginning. Not that you fans of mine would do this to me, but still, it's a safety issue thing.

Another reason is... more personal, and rather dumb. But I must follow it due to my current living condition.

Believe me, if I had my way, I would gladly allow fan art. But for the moment, fan art is not allowed.

I know lots of people put some time and dedication to these fan arts, and I do love and appreciate them. But it's also frustrating when I have these rules up and nobody follows them. Maybe they're not aware of them; that's why I'm posting them here now.

So, if you're seeing this journal, can you please do me a favor and NOT draw ANY fan art of my Jimenitoon cast yet, please? I do hope I can work something out so that, eventually, no sooner than later, you may be able to draw fan art of them as you wish. For now, though, they're off limits.

If you DO wanna draw characters of mine, I do have my Free-to-Draw cast of characters as they are, well, free to draw.

I don't wanna bother people and ask them to take down pics that I know they put work and effort into, only to have it removed. I hope you understand.

Some other details to keep in mind: -Only up to 3 (alien-related) OCs allowed. -Only one entry. -No shading.

-If you want a background, you'll have to illustrate it yourself. My part will simply be adding KnV into the piece interacting with your character(s). -If there aren't enough entries submitted, I'll make an announcement so some users can make another entry if they like.

Some people were interested, so I guess I'll explain my idea...

Given that this is the year of Kevin and Violet based on the pics I shall upload, I decided to do something special with them.

I thought of doing mini individual collabs with other people who happen to have alien OCs, as well as OCs that hunt aliens or live among aliens far away from Earth, with their alien/alien hunters/alien enthusiasts interacting with Kevin and Violet.

Maybe Kevin and Violet are getting along well with a cool alien character, fighting against a threatening alien, or teaming up with alien hunters or alien enthusiasts, talking about what they love/hate about aliens.

The idea is if you have alien OCs or alien hunters/enthusiast OCs, you draw your half of the collab (your alien-related OCs doing something), and I'd draw my half with Kevin and/or Violet interacting with them afterwards.

Of course, this involves drawing digitally. But I can also work with traditional paper and pencil/pen drawings.

And the reason I wanna do it for April is... well, because it starts with an A.

You know how "Mermay" takes place in May? And how I came up with the concept of "Genieuary" (Genies for January), as well as "Fairyuary" (Fairies for February)?

I thought April would be perfect for an Alien theme. "Alien April", perhaps.

So basically, it's my characters Kevin and Violet meeting your alien OCs or alien hunters/enthusiasts and interacting with them.

If interested, I could work on the journal for the rules (though I basically explained them here already), and you could start working on your half. When I receive your pics, I could work on my half. And they would all be uploaded in April.

It has recently been brought to my attention that there's someone on here who is "cheating the system". It appears they have been producing AI-art and posting it on here as "original" art.

Now, from what I've learned, IF you happen to create AI-generated art and post it on here, you must ADMIT to it being AI art so nobody confuses it for actual art created by human hands, let alone created by you.

This individual either missed the memo, or they thought they could get away with showcasing OBVIOUSLY AI-GENERATED art and pass it off as their own.

Their gallery consists of various different illustrations, paintings, photos, and other forms of art that somehow feel a bit off. There are those iconic smudges, bent body parts, distorted faces, "rubber lighting" (as a friend of mine coined), and the paintings seem rather inconsistent in style.

I have not spoken to this person, so I don't know exactly what their goal here is. But for someone who's only been here for a year, they sure have "produced thousands of art pieces of various styles and mediums" to post.

I do believe they're trying to pass off this art stuff as "their own" as I don't think they've admitted to it being AI-generated. Nobody on their profile seems to have called them out on it either (maybe they possibly deleted those that have addressed it).

So, bottom line, if you have come across this artist, may I suggest you stay away from them.

Perhaps I should question them to see what they have to say about their art being the way it looks, if they deny it being AI art, or they just instantly block me to avoid further issues.

Should I? Or should I just put them in the spotlight and not engage with them any further?

Either way, just wanted to warn you about this user. His art seems obviously AI-generated, and nowhere does he admit to it, which could trick people into thinking it is legit art if they don't know any better.

Time for my yearly reminder of what gifts you may and may NOT make for me for my birthday.

My birthday is on January 1st, New Year's Day, one week after Christmas.

And I'm still on that rule about my Jimenitoons not allowed to be drawn by anyone just yet.

This includes characters from Joe and Venny, to Jero and Britney, to Corpsie and Dark Wizard, to Kevin and Violet and Lauren. Anyone that is a Jimenitoon is not allowed to be drawn as of yet.

I promise, I will eventually lift the ban. But for now, they're still not allowed to be drawn, either as fan art or gift art, or birthday gift art.

However, if you DO wanna draw characters of mine, there are the Free-to-Draws.

As stated, they are "free to draw". So if you've seen art posts of them and feel like drawing them for my birthday, or as fan art or gifts in general, you're allowed to draw them.

So, remember, no Jimenitoons are allowed to be drawn. Free-to-Draws, however, are totally fine.
