BEAN Jimenitoons - Jero and Britney

So, there's this meme going around where people draw their cartoon characters in CalArts style. It's a style used in just about every modern cartoon show on TV, mostly on Cartoon Network. I find it pretty annoying. In my honest opinion, I think it's rather overrated and overused. Nevertheless, I thought I'd take a chance and draw my characters in CalArts style, just for the curiosity of it. This is not me praising it. I'm just doing this for the curiosity of it.

UPDATE: I decided to rename my titles from "CalArts" to "BEAN".

Here we have a pic that I'm personally really proud of: Jero and Britney in CalArts style. I had ideas for what they could look like, but I went with this one, which seemed like the absolute best to me. I gave Jero a bit of a unique look, with a rather muscular top half (at least in the chest area), and thin arms and legs. Also gave him a bit of a goofy smile. With Britney, I was kinda-sorta inspired by Enid from Ok KO, only with a few other details, such as a more defined figure, cheeks, and of course her navel. She also has thick legs.

I don't know what it is, but I really am proud of this one. They do kinda look like actual CalArts cartoons (yeah, imagine me, being excited for them looking like a certain style I can't really stand)!
