BEAN Jimenitoons - Dark Wizard and Eegore

So, there's this meme going around where people draw their cartoon characters in CalArts style. It's a style used in just about every modern cartoon show on TV, mostly on Cartoon Network. I find it pretty annoying. In my honest opinion, I think it's rather overrated and overused. Nevertheless, I thought I'd take a chance and draw my characters in CalArts style, just for the curiosity of it. This is not me praising it. I'm just doing this for the curiosity of it.

UPDATE: I decided to rename my titles from "CalArts" to "BEAN".

Here we have Dark Wizard and Eegore. Yep, I made DW skinnier, giving him rather thin arms and legs. He still has a bean mouth, the round eyes, and I even rounded out his hair. Now he looks like a Flash-animated CalArts character. Also, doesn't he look somewhat familiar?  

Eegore has the typical CalArts look, with the round eyes, weird mouth, big round cheek, rubbery arms, etc.
