Sorcerer Mickey (Colored) by JIMENOPOLIX Sorcerer Mickey (Colored) by JIMENOPOLIX
Also for Mickey's (and Minnie's) birthday, I decided to color what I consider the BEST Mickey Mouse drawing I have ever drawn out of memory: Sorcerer Mickey!

Happy Birthday, Mr. Mouse!

Awesome drawing! The Sorcerer Apprentice was the one that started Fantasia. The idea of outstanding animation and showing what it can do. The mouse started it!

But did you know before Fantasia 2000 before Donald duck had his chance in his retelling of the Biblical story of "Noah's Ark".

Another Fantasia sequel Called Musicana to Fantasia during the 70's that was sadly scraped.

Mickey mouse had a role in another Fantasia sequence called "The Emperor and the Nightingale" by Hans Christian Andersen.

If you type Musicana on YouTube and on Disney Wiki you'll see what I mean!

If you ever do another Mickey Mouse drawing I would like to see you draw him in his Chinese attire from the unmade movie.

Anyways you did a fabulous job on coloring him!

Yeah, I heard that's how it started.
--
Yeah, I kinda knew that.

Wow! I didn't know that! I was thinking of directing a new future Fantasia movie; one in 3D!
--
I didn't know that.
I'll search for it later.

I'll try.

Thanks!

Your welcome. I know in one of segments there was a jazz number with frogs that took deep down in the bayou in America...

An after seeing to art work of that. I would think they us that inspiration to make "The Princess and the Frog!

I maybe wrong but I remember on a animation site called Micheal Sporn Animation where they have model sheets, concept art, walking cycles and many wonderful things that they have there. I found some concept drawings of Goofy in a ballad to-to outfit. I may have be for a forgotten short or maybe in a fantasia sequence. But if Disney ever makes a third one (before you get there, which hopefully not because I would love too see your version -:prayer:- .)
I wouldn't be to surprised. because they already did Mickey and Donald.

I did imagine Goofy in one of the segments, but instead playing the Hungarian Rhapsody song (THAT's a classic!).
